NAPKIN WORDS #23 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor
1. ALWAYS ASK OF YOURSELF
How far do we think we will go in life, if from
the very start, we refuse, because of imagined
fears, to take that very first step?
It is only when we try, that the first step can be
taken, and we can cure our fears!
2. INTOLERANCE ON A LIFE BLACKBOARD
Assume a question: Will it answer a belief?
Think what the question might be asking.
Be patient, one never does know exactly when
someone might ask you about your belief.
More importantly, one is often confounded by
the anger and disbelief of the one who asked the
question and then heard the answer!
3. LAUGHTER
A great life consists of the joyous laughter we
heard, the laughter we are currently hearing.
Most important to a great life, is the laughter we
will always remember!
4. TIME AND ITS PLEASURE
Patience is the great pleasure of time!
5. THE WELCOMING
The stranger will not remain a stranger if
you reach out, offer kindness.
No matter your station in life, this can be
done, this you can offer!
6. YOUR SONG TIME
Insure that your life hears.
Then, when the lark sings it’s beautiful song ,
your ears and your heart will hear the magic!
7. GENERATION LISTENING
On radio, when I was very young, they
had a program that opened with this line:
“WHO KNOW WHAT EVIL LURKS IN
THE HEARTS OF MEN”
We all repeated it over and over. It was just
a popular line from a popular radio show.
Now, the young of today are told to be very
suspicious should anyone ask this question.
Today we know that evil lurks around each corner.
8. THE BOOK ON A SHELF IS HELPLESS
Only once removed and read, can it create a hero!
DAY GIFTING
Dawn opens ribbons of a
package called day.
Dusk ties those ribbons,
presenting this gift
to those days to
follow.
And what lies within?
Each human knows, while
hoping to know so much
more.
