NAPKIN WORDS #72 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor
1. DON'T PAY THE SCAM ARTISIT
Anyone can dare time. Anyone can challenge time.
All that entitles one to, is to be called a challenger.
With that said, history has taught us that time has
never been defeated.
Since this is fact, why would anyone dare to
challenge the inevitable? It sounds to me like a
waste of time. Something that is going to cost one
dearly. Only charlatans tell others that they have
found ways to conquer time. Once they say that,
their next words will tell of the expenses one must
pay before they show their secrets. Just a second
after one pays, they, the phony one, fades away!
2. PEOPLE OF TRUTH
It is those wise people who from the start believe
they can do anything, then try to do everything.
Then as they grow older, tell the next generation of
their many successes, while always admitting to
their many failures!
3. OPTIMISM
Life expected, yet not yet experienced.
If you live life with this hope, you are indeed an
optimist worthy of its experiences!
4. THAT GREEN-EYED MONSTER
If you live life jealous of what others possess,
you will never comprehend all that you have.
Nor, will you ever possess honestly what others
have.
Praise your possessions, then you will be able to
praise others for theirs. When you do this, that
monster in your mirror will disappear and in its
place will be the contented you!
5. MISREADING LIFE
We often, at certain moments, misunderstand
life and what is going on all around us.
You should understand, it is just the humor of
life, part of its surprise which it holds for us all.
Get adjusted to it, for this way you will understand
moments once misunderstood, as well as have a
good laugh at the happiness of success!
6. GIVING
If you think of others, you are giving gifts to
strangers.
If you think only of yourself, the gift you receive
will be empty, but there will always be postage due!
NATURE SAD
Nowhere do I see
flowers,
yet I
remember them.
This abuse upon
beauty,
a winter storm,
when biting rain
whips fiercely
against our
flesh.
We stumble downward
in a
gripping slide.
Try to forget how
fearful our
recall,
this human mind.
