NAPKIN WORDS #12 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor
(edited and improved greatly by Roslyn Prevor)
1. TWO OPTIONS OF LIFE- YOU OR ANOTHER
A. You ask the important questions about life.
Then, you spend the rest of your life seeking
answers to those questions.
B. Or else, you allow someone other than you to
ask the important questions about life, so that
only they spend the rest of their life seeking
and getting answers to their questions.
Dear Reader: I beg of you to take the first option!
2. OF NO CONCERN
That which is there, is everywhere.
What “there” will be is something that each
and everyone must figure out for themselves.
Some might think that what is everywhere is
really nowhere!
Others, those who know and believe, do not
worry about where the “there” is
For that is in the hands of a WHO!
3. HORIZON
Beyond sight is where life is first seen!
4. LIFEWISE – ASIA AND THE WEST
There was a time that they were afraid to
know each other. They were so different,
each knew nothing, cared nothing, about
each other.
Then they became friends, they overcame
fears.
They startled each other with their likewise,
their sameness of self!
6. WISDOM AND PROBLEMS OF LIFE
It is not the forgetting of who you are.
It is the remembering of who others are.
For if we do that, there will be very few
problems in life!
7. KNOWING THE DARE
The normal challenge of life is always: Who are
you willing to challenge?
Anyone can challenge another, but the truly wise
challenge with great bravery, their inner self!
8. THAT EXCURSION YOU TAKE IN LIFE
Genius is a very rare accident of life.
Wisdom is a trip, an adventure to take!
FACING THE MIRROR
There is no beauty to sadness
yet there is sadness.
So too the ancient stone now
turned into talc,
memory placed upon every
pore, found in tears, hushed
in a family time of looking
backward, forced to go
forward.
So we march on, hauling
the harshness of love
upon sled of fear.
Yet we hurry onwards,
such is hope.
That one snip releasing
darkness into a blaze
of mist.
