NAPKIN WORDS #7 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor

1. ON THE ROAD OF FATE
I have been lucky.

I have had a long life.

I have a strong heart.

I have an inquiring mind.

I have a loving family.

I have acknowledged my luck!

2. UNDERSTANDING
Just because you shout wishes, does not
mean that you will experience your desires.

For all that is heard is that heartbeat of
hope upon a mere pulse of time!

3. PRESENTING A THANK YOU FACE
When your smile shows your wisdom!

4. FAST ENOUGH
Insure life always outruns its problems!

5. THE HISTORIAN TELLS IT
Each of us is never ahead of our time, until that
moment we are beyond our time.

6. PILGRIM
One who feels unsettled by where they settled!

7. WONDER TIME
Wonder is always the world you live in.

The world that you imagine, should be made up
of wishes, aspiration, hopes and dreams.

If you succeed with your imagination, you might
just end up living that most enjoyable wonder!

8. ADVICE TO ANOTHER WRITER
If you are willing to listen to all things that speak,
your mind will paint pictures, which you can put
into words.

Be patient, let the paint dry before you show it to
others!

9. TO ANSWER HOW
The human brain was the genius of God’s
decision as to how we would evolve.

Once that was decided, he left it up to us to
figure out how long we would be around to
evolve!

10. THE WATCH IT OOPS
If time is covering your back, it can’t be on your
side!

GROWING OF DAYS
What of rains, showers, falling silently so flowers
rush to arise, holding life buds upwards towards heaven’s
flawless sky?

Ask many questions while befriending life. Be unafraid
to offer noise amid winters quiet shadows, for it shall pass.
Spring will arouse warriors to battle blazes of sun, burning
away fear.

Growing elaborate carpets of green while snaring magic of
a wandering life. Butterflies in flight, dragonflies hovering,
darting, while sunshine rushes to abandon yet another passing
day to whispering dusk.

Winters icy harsh breath is near and mischievous to so many
species surviving ever-changing ways of nature. For in the
deep darkness of night, we feel the breath of ice bowing limbs
barren of leaves, yet we understand that with that rush, there is
also an awakening of other seasons now resting gently, hidden
yet there.

Soon, spring will start its soaring, a bursting tomorrow of rays
touching the invisible with its magical wand of life, touching,
assuring...moments when life is loved as a season of change.

We, to our surprise, our joy, hold steady in persistence of honor
for those who remained ever unchanged by that miracle, a soft
ticking of time.
