NAPKIN WORDS #62 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor
1. WHO YOU ARE
You are most wise if able to say you can
accept who you are, while struggling in
dignity and with honesty to work towards
who you will be!
2. QUESTION
If you believe a single lie about a friend, how
will you ever know the truth of a friend?
3. SPRING APPLAUDS
Look how generous the trees are today. Watch
the many dances insects do under flowing clouds,
floating over the full face of the sun shedding its
rays here and there.
Life moves all of us and we should be awed!
4. ON BEING SUPERVISED
A great boss teaches and coaches, forever
showing methods for the good of all.
A miserable boss yells their instruction while
belittling all.
Remember this: You are on earth, no matter
what, you can walk away. There is one BUT:
Do it on your terms when the moment is right!
5. FAMILY WISDOM
If you grow up disliking your parents for the life
you have,
forget having children, for they will love the very
things that you so dislike.
Hence the term: “What Goes Around, Comes
Around”!
6. NOT THE PLACE FOR THAT TREASURE
The exact moment when love is secured and locked
in an unbreakable safe, is the exact instant that the
love will die from suffocation.
Love, like all living things, has to have the freedom
to be what it is!
7. AN ECONOMIC FATE
Should there come a time when the forests are
gone from the face of the earth, what will be left
will not be us!
8. WHO WILL ANSWER
If the human race keeps on killing the human
species, as it seems to be doing almost all over
the globe?
The great question has been asked, but the
great answer will never be found!
THE SEVEN HUMAN WONDERS OF THIS WORLD
To love your family.
To treasure friendships.
To find contentment.
To avoid evils that are always about
To labor well and have those you work for,
work with, or employ, enjoy your labors.
Laughter.
Being able to age on the outside and remain young on the inside.

HONORED FATHER
Where stood man in birthing universe, when mother
seas spawned sons, daughters of every species? Such
questions rest on all male lips. For histories narrative
must make him proud, swell his chest, raise head high,
sense a wonder for what was achieved.
Ages eon gone, survival was all of all, only fittest of fit
continued a species. Mankind faced many daily dangers,
protecting, providing, for mate, offspring’s, clan, his people.
He who hunted, gathered skins which sheltered, swathed,
essence of mixture, allowing egg, sperm, to cause noble child.
Male, female, carved tools of testing, which by trial, error, were able to chop-sew-sift-carry-toss and spear. Adventurous
spirit man, mixed with wondrous glory woman, caused genes
to pass, unknowns to grasp generation’s learning.
Against all odds, he bravely faced giant woolly Mammoths, fierce saber-toothed tigers, and harsh elements of seasons, tribes of others, as well as ignorance and illness. Ask for what?
A simple answer, so all children might aspire, dream, live in awe.
Our Father, whoever you are, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish,
Muslim, Hindu or other, your children give thanks for allowing joining partners. Creating, sculpturing we, a next
generation in perfect form to challenge tomorrow. Setting out
towards paths unknown, yet always dared.
Such was wisdom of your loving instructions, Honored Father of roads yet traveled - truths yet seen.
