NAPKIN WORDS #64 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor

1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Each dream is a hope of recognition for tomorrow.

Always reasoning that we can forgive today!

2. TO MAKE THE WHOLE
The joy of life is called existence.

The afterlife is called expectation.

The secret is to have both!

3. THREE BUTTERFLIES OF LIFE
The first can be you if you wish to flutter your
wings.

The second is your parents, for they knew
how to soar by giving birth to your flight.

The third are friends; make them plentiful,
allow them their beauty, help insure they can fly!

4. ILLNESS AND ITS REMEDY
The greatest disease of humanity is apathy.

The great cure is care!

5. A LIFE IN LOVE-AVOIDING EGO
Whatever you do with it, don't do it alone!

6. THE DUET OF LIFE
There are two tomorrows for every today.

One that you wish for, and one which occurs!

7. ZEN ROAD
Life is past.

Living is future!

8. INTEGRITY
I think of it as the invisible morality bar of life.

It is either whole or not.

It can't be sliced.

Mr. Ponzi tried, as did Mr. Madoff. They, plus
many others, show the truth of the whole, by
ending up in jail, eating what they could not slice.
Now dining only on slices of their rotten depravity!

9. SIGHT AND THE OTHER SIDE
Half the world we can see.

The other half is a mystery.

Others can describe it, but if you wish to solve
the mystery, you must visit the other half and
see it for yourself!

STARTS AND STOPS OF FALLING

In softest darkness,

when a yellow moon is silent,

as stars start to blaze while clouds

float, then smile into gently beings they

surely are. That is the moment you gave to

me. In return, I offer thoughts of a kite soaring

on a string of gratitude. Held by anguished

tears of your departure. Yet wondrously

elated at those sighs you caused.
