NAPKIN WORDS #13 2011
1. LIFE
From the best of times, will often come
wretched times.
Only you, down and out, can create anew those
best of times.
The many moments of struggle will change you,
but wisdom of those same struggles, will have
changed you for the better.
By those changes, you will find again those best of
times!
2. THE ERROR FACTOR
We are humans.
We make mistakes.
Its what we do!
3. NATURE
What I find so amazing are it’s moods, it’s
amazing temperament.
Lately, with much introspection, I have
begun to realize that it has little or
nothing to do with thought.
That is the Nature of it’s Wonder!
4. ARACHNIDS APPRENTICE
Ticks are one of the most ancient problems
upon the body of time.
Unfortunately, time doesn’t care. Time might
cause itches, but what I find so amazing, is
that time never has to scratch!
5. IN THE FUTURE
If you wish to fool alien archeologists, it is
best to smile when your time has come.
It will drive them nuts asking what made
humans so happy!
6. THE MAKING OF MY ASIAN MIND
Once, I had the value of time, its known
friendship, its western ways.
Then I departed, found different paths
that offered me tears in ways unknown to
my western ways. Not crying, you see, but
discovery of silence that asked nothing from
me. Showed in swirls of discovery, its peace,
its contentment, how I could brush each new
morning without a cursing of my past!
7. AT THE ROOT OF THOUGHT
Reason condemns us all to fate.
Let us reason, whatever we discover!
IGNORING INSTRUCTIONS OF TIME
At a certain period of time,
we know we are old,
we smile, admit all
truths.
But how does age, by
itself, instruct
children to a
wisdom of
aging?
Elders ask, “How will
youth be affected
by change, when
they refuse to
acknowledge
time?”
For they willingly
ignore passage
until another
day.
Whatever is learned
by a child, is the
only subject of
time
not taught by
us.
