NAPKIN WORDS #1 2011
1. THREE WISHES TIED TOGETHER
To live.
To love.
To understand.
These three wishes bind us all!
2. THIS TIME IN THOUGHT
December tells us what November tried to
keep secret.
Interestingly enough, have you noticed how quiet
it is of January, or the other months of 2011?
3. BEFORE
Prior the invention of the first way to tell
time, people still worried about time. They
understood it by phases, the sun rising and
falling, trees blooming or turning bare, fish
and game arriving and departing, birth and
death.
In the thousands of years since its invention, the
only change seems to be that now we rush!
4. HOPE
Hope is nothing but tomorrow smiling today!
5. ON THE FARM OF LIFE
Kindness gathers all that is wondrous.
Anger and hate stunts life’s crops, so they are
never reaped, but rather, left to rot in the field!
6. IN PRAISE OF THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE
Just like everything in life, costs go up and new
inventions change what once was so successful.
Still, over all my many years, the U.S. Postal
service always has provided this to its citizens:
EACH WISH WAS GUARANTEED TO BE
DELIVERED, AND ALMOST ALL WERE!
7. MY BELIEF
It is my belief that there is something of a
higher nature than humankind. I have no
problem with calling that higher nature, God.
Religions, on the other hand, are attachments
put together by humans, and as with all humans
endeavors, there is where one will find flaws!
8. TWO SHADOWS UPON LIGHT
Birth.
Death.
In between, insure there is brightness!
AGENT OF SONG
Many voices burst
into song during
holiday seasons.
Yet dreamers,
lovers,
sing when there
is nothing to
celebrate
except their
spirit.
So sing softly amid
strangers,
worry not about their
questioning
looks of
who or
why.
Angels of adventure,
those of
enchantment,
always
listen and party
with songs of
love.
