NAPKIN WORDS #85 2011 - Dedicated to my Brother-In-Law Mike Prevor
1. WISDOM
Write your epithet while you exist.
This is the only way to insure that others don’t
write it when you are gone.
Keep in mind, it is how you lived that will define
the final writing!
2. SOMETHING INTERESTING
Accidents happen when the wise bump into you,
then tell you that they are very sorry.
Fame on the other hand, bumps into you on
purpose, because it want to know your name.
Remember, when fame bumps into you, it is not
you, the person, that it is interested in, it is the
money to be made because fame is a business!
3. THE DIRECTOR KNOWS
Many voices, raised at once, create a circus.
One voice, at one time, rules the stage!
4. FATE
Every today has a past.
Not every today has a tomorrow!
5. LIVING WITHOUT THE MUSCLE
Shouting may get you fame, but it is softness
and silence that brings you contentment.
Notice that the loud always hire bodyguards,
whenever they are in public, while those that are
content, can go alone to whatever the event may be!
6. CREATING
I am determined to do, with my time, that which
will benefit my mind at another time.
Instead of wasting my time doing things that
benefit me, without regard for the time of others!
7. HEART WISE SCULPTING
Hearing the inside.
Listening to the outside.
Understanding the whole, the true shape of love!
8. LIFE AND AN ANALOGY OF FOOTBALL
At half time during any Super Bowl Game, there
is always a great effort made to entertain the
audience, both in the stadium and those watching
on any electronic device.
In life, half time is nothing but a realization that
to celebrate the occasion, you should run away
from the past, and insure a great second half!
DISCOVERY
Only in age do we lose
sorrow of time,
discover its
power.
While our young rage and
shout, about time
standing
still.
Love transcends, time
hesitates,
yet gentle those aches
of memory!
