NAPKIN WORDS #98 2011 - Dedicated to my Brother-In-Law Mike Prevor

1. IN MODERN TIMES IT HAPPENS
Almost every original thought contains the dismay
of a possible interruption.

Since there is little the writer, writing outdoors, can
do about this in our busy, modern day society, he
must constantly be prepared to think anew!

2. YOU MUST GIVE TO GET
If you do not give time your patience, then time
might refuse to give you your thoughts!

3. IMAGINATION SKY
Each cloud paints ember tales of dusk, forever
telling epics to all flying things, all watching eyes!

4. HERE IS WHAT I SAID IN FLORIDA
I tried youth once, then forgave its urging,
went a second time around by becoming an adult.

Strange how soft an urging of youth is, compared
to harsh, realistic signs of growing old.

The hardness of youth is now soft, a fleshy thing.

Sometimes age is unable to do those wondrous
things that pleased many girls, and me, during
my youth. Now, woman of age delight in my
wonder: If only I was a man who drove at night!

5. JUST PART OF THE PACKAGE
Each destiny drags along doubt, should it be
honest with where it is destined to go!

6. QUESTIONING GOD
If a whisper is heard by God, why shout?

If it is not, how would we know?

It is these, and many other challenges, that
bring hope to mind when we ask things of God.

With each question, we renew a balance in thought
of something higher than ourselves.

Whisper or shout your questions, for you have the
wisdom of believing that a correct answer is near!

7. THE GREAT WASTING
If you await time to tell you who you are, you are
wasting your time.

Time simply shadows what you make of your time.

The only time it tells you anything, is when your
time is up. Then it disappears!

8. BOLDLY HELD
The hands which hold love, are well armed for
adventure!

LOVE TRAIN SENSES

Love
has
no
seasons.

It possesses
smell,
touch,
sight
and
taste.

So when
at last
you hear
it, how
fast an
engine is
your heart,
how it
flatters who
you are.
