NAPKIN WORDS #86 2011 - Dedicated to my Brother-In-Law Mike Prevor
1. DEEDS
Kindness should be an action, not an act.
Love should be a reaction to another, not
an act.
Family should be satisfaction, not an act.
Notice the word “ACT” in each activity!
2. GIVING
We must not give children regret. If we should,
we will leave children feeling sorry, instead of
elated with that spirit of life. It is ours to give!
3. WHAT IT IS
Kindness is a deed you act on because of an
inner want.
Fear is a reaction from the inside and it will keep
you from doing most good things externally!
4. IT DOES THE IMPOSSIBLE
Love thinks beyond our wishes and desires.
It takes us places we did not know existed.
It joins two heart in an unbreakable bond!
5. THE ROAD QUESTION
It is the path you elect to walk. You believe
its destination is the mountain of life that is
far away. At some point, you reach the base
of that mountain.
Here, at this place, is where you ask yourself
a few important questions:
Am I capable of climbing it? If I am, how
long before I crest the top and am able to
descend? If I descend, can I return to where
I started from? If I can’t, was it worth the
effort?
Finally, you are back at the starting point,
asking, would I do it again?
This last question answers all!
6. THE GREAT FLIP
Risk is just one side of the coin of life.
Love, family, wealth, deeds, achievements,
friends, history, wants, wishes, charity,
sadness, all are on the other side.
It is your life, know that you have choices,
flip the coin, and take your chances!
LIGHT WISE YOU
In my life, all flames
are lit by candles
of your
loving kindness.
Thank you for
always lighting
my way.
What a wondrous
brightness you
share so gladly.
How dark my world
were you not here.
