NAPKIN WORDS #24 2011 - Dedicated to Mike Prevor

1. TO MAKE THAT IMPORTANT EFFORT
Nothing begins without the struggle of starting.

It ends when nothing struggles to begin!

2. LIP GLOSS LIFE
Life is like someone putting on lipstick, or a
soothing lip balm.

As soon as one puts it on, it immediately starts to
wear off, so again, and again, you have to reapply
it. Each day, there is friction of one kind or
another, which causes it to erode, that grinding
down that goes on in life.

So apply lip-gloss willingly, often, as many
times as you can.

Remember, life is just a luster which as soon as it
is being applied, from that exact moment, it will
continue warning you that soon, very soon, it is
going to wear off.

Or worse, the container holding that lip gloss life
empties, one can’t purchase another container, the
store which stocked it has suddenly closed!

3. WISDOM PEOPLE
Those who make us smile are always smiling!

4. CLUELESS PEOPLE
Those baffled humans who offer only frowns,
smirks, to those they see in person or who
face them each day in their very own mirrors!

5. ATTRIBUTE OF EMOTIONS
The characteristic of a tear is cleansing,
regardless of the reason which caused it to
appear, then allowed it to fall!

6. VICTORY IN SHADOWS OF LET US
We should and must be “all things to all
people.”

Our sadness should be of that knowing; For
regardless how much we wish to be “all things
to all people,” it is not up to us, it is up to a
greater power than we.

From the very beginning of humankind, all
people, from all places have always tried, in
their own special way, to say THANK YOU
to that greater power.

A way to acknowledge that something higher
than mankind had the kindness and the wisdom
to let us try!

7. WHAT IS PASSAGE
It is time. Worry all you want, but it will pass,
regardless if you forgot to check the winding!

LOVES ROAD IS NEVER SOLO

Unseen, no matter that I watched
life with widened eyes, was love
appearing as a wisp of smoke,
which rose, encircled my pulsing
heart, gently wandered into my
suspicious mind, conquering all.

Then stayed, called it surrender
and in my victory, I was lost on
that long, winding trail heading
towards Eden.

Should I find that paradise, it will
only be possible because you led
the way.
When I faltered, you helped me to
recover, when I pulled hard, your
loving wisdom slowed me down.
