NAPKIN WORDS #65 2010
1. UNDERSTANDING CLOWNS
In a childish manner, we sometimes play
the fool.
It is when we act the fool, and none see
the child in our childish behavior, that
attitude of others watching, so often change!
2. THANK YOU
The hero of my story is luck.
Those times when fate wrote “Give
him a hard time.”
So it did, it made me stronger, taught
me well!
3. LIFE PROTECTION
The greatest insurance you can possess
is a belief in possibilities!
4. TOMORROW CITY
The web will frighten, the spider will scare,
just as it did the day before and today.
One would think, by this time of human
advancement, we would have learned the vast
difference between something beneficial and
what is truly frightening!
5. HUMOR OF LIFE
Humor is what tethers friendship.
A wise mulch that grows laughter until
it can lift sadness forming within the human
heart!
6. TWIST ON AN OLD SAYING
The life you were dealt may prove to indeed
be “A glass half empty.”
Think how lucky you are:
It could have been a glass completely empty!
7. THAT TALK OF TIME
When time speaks, you must be willing
to at least listen.
It is true, that you might not like what
you hear.
Yet like and listening are two different
exercises, and listening is the more
important of the two.
Keep your ears open.
Listen to the wisdom of your mind!
FALL
Summer winds
of sunshine
are starting
to chill.
Turning first
to mist, icy
cold,
then changing
shape to
please all
children.
Falling loudly
in laughter
as flakes of
snow.
