NAPKIN WORDS #62 2010

1. HOW COULD THIS BE
Once, when we were noteworthy in history, we
were everywhere.

Now, we are not as noticeable. Was it we who said:
“Thank God, we are no longer there.”

Or was it simply time, plus our self-thought
importance, that shoved us aside?

2. ASTONISHMENT
Thought is everything, but the heart is more!

3. DAWN UPON A PILLOW
If a wish is a dream, imagination is its wonder.

Wake up, it is that time to smile!

4. THE WONDER INSIDE
There are no words to describe what I have
seen with my imagination, or heard with my
heart!

5. GREAT MUSIC TO LISTEN TO
The heart is able to hear the whispered
hymn hummed by love!

6. THE WAY IT IS
Health in life, becomes the Happiness of life!

7. WHAT NOT WHO
I have found that in life, it is not the importance
of the speaker, it is the wonder of their words!

8. UP THERE
Only when we are willing to be a star among
the many, will we be able to make the sky glow,
bathed in that light made by us all!

9. THIS IS NEW YORK BUDDY
We are a city that accepts everyone, from
everywhere, and no matter how hectic, we
smile, we enjoy the challenge.

Now some are pushing against all that
we stand for, and accusing us of wrong
because we attest to our history. No
more, no less.

So understand, that we shove back, and
you will fail.

Of that, let all be certain!

10. WHY LAWS OFTEN FAIL
Here in the United States, we have the
Disability Act, to ease the way for those
with some type of physical handicap.
The very first thing this Act should have
tried to accomplish, was build a place for
all of our invisible crutches.

FEEDING

Words, like eggs, must be gently offered.
For though appearing strong, flawless,
they are extremely fragile, ready to
fracture, discover failure.

In oval perfection are found virtues of
wholeness, which must be broken for
life to survive or never existing.

Thus we learn safeguards for continuing
growth.

With all blessings of our gifts of words,
they are but mulch writers provide so
images endure. Becoming foods of life,
feeding others so they too may grow strong.

Thinking of things to raise and create,
showing our sameness while changing
all.
