NAPKIN WORDS #16 2010

1. HIGH IN THE SKY
The best way to capture a comet is with
a sigh. For it lets you know immediately
the impossibility of doing so.

Yet with love, should you wish to capture
the glimmer of a star, simply point to it
and the two loving hearts capture the
moment!

2. THERE IS A PRICE
Without shoes, choose wisely the path
you wish to walk.

Without direction, choose wisely the
shoes you must purchase.

Know, that the cost will be high!

3. IT IS IMPORTANT
How wise it is to forgive and forget,
instead of remembering what you
should forget and forgetting that
you once forgave!

4. THE GREATEST WINE BOTTLE
Once it is empty, it suffers defeat!

5. THE CARVED LIFE TREE
In life, preparation is a smarter concept
than relying on expectations.

How amazing it is, that surprise turns
out to be the wisest gift of all.

It is that surprise, which motivates us
to carve a heart in a tree, with two sets
of initials we never prepared for!

6. “BLOWING IN THE WIND
There are three winds of life:

One blows you away, it is that strong.

The second, blows others away.

The third wind joins the first two,
then gently, joins them so they can
unite as one!

7. THE FAILURE OF TOOLS
Wisdom is one of the expert tools
of a great society.

What a shame it is that throughout
history, so many societies have let
there tools go rusty, until at last they
can’t be used!

POETING

Every poem is

measured.

A billion neurons,

a million thoughts,

thousands of words,

hundreds of pages.

Left is eyesight

seeing that poem.

Measured by nothing,

except for flutters

of a fast beating

heart.
