NAPKIN WORDS #19 2010
1. LEARNING
The first lesson: One can always run
away from others.
The most important lesson: One can
never run away from ones self!
2. GO FOR THE ARDUOUS PART
To make an enemy is easy.
It is making a friend that often proves
to be difficult.
So many of us look for the easy way,
accept the easy way.
When in fact, we should always try
the most difficult to obtain the best
results.
It is hard work to make a great friend,
but in life, the best thing you will ever
have is that friend, for they shall make
each day which follows so much easier!
3. WITHIN EACH OF OUR TIMES
Try to please, no matter who you are,
or what your station in life is.
4. MODERN DAY HAPPENINGS
The greatest mistake of a fool is when
they insist on opening their mouth and
ideas to others.
The greatest mistake of wisdom, is when
it insists keeping their ears open when
the fool is speaking!
5. THE MEMORY OF HEART
Only an envious heart remembers
a slight.
For a loving, generous heart forgives,
forgets, then never remembers!
6. A SPECIAL MOMENT IN TIME
The great problem of Europe at this
moment in time:
It must make a decision.
Now that it has had a reasonable time
together as The European Community,
and its single form of currency; the Euro,
it must decide if being tied together this
way is better than the old way, when each
was separate in their currencies, each was
apart from each other!
HONORED MOTHER
She is a wondrous giver of holders
holy displaying our light.
Inspired by her, stars rejoice,
rainbows twinkle, clouds announce
proud blue skies.
An ever-raising orb shaped sun pats
her children growing in clover, swamps,
ghettos, on gentle stems shimmering in
their glory, praising to greet her with
aromas of laughter.
Celebrate her miracle of starting life.
For females in existence begets all of
all. Creating hanging, floating, buried,
carried, toted, swallowed, dangled places
to nestle.
Listen to music, hear her children’s
creations.. So too, statues, buildings,
gems of art, cloth, paper, all we
comprehend, think we know.
We who are, could not be without her.
From cradle to grave, from ashes to
flowers, all is her magical donation
of a generous love.
