NAPKIN WORDS #84 2010

1. LIVING
Fear is beyond my responsibility.

Laughter – Good Cheer: These are my
ambitions, I hope to make real for
myself, for others!

2. THE WONDER OF THE CHILEAN MINE
There was a collapse of a mine filled with so
many toilers, those brave souls who dig under
the earth for mineral treasures used by those
above.

The president of that country, was under frowns
of silence, unheard shouts.

What he accomplished truly was an act of
courage, a time of man.

Congratulations to those miners who endured a
long wait to be freed, salute to a president who
cared enough to ensure their freedom!

3. A MISTAKE CORRECTED
Fear is simply reading the intricate map of life
the wrong way.

Look again, you will find the right road, the
directions will be clear!

4. YOUR CHOICE
Insure that time is nothing but the glory
of your trying to achieve success in all things
that you attempt.

Never because others are watching your
time.

Should you fail at any moment in time, you have
plenty of opportunities to make corrections.

Those others watching, might be looking for
your failure, not necessarily, your success!

5. THE ROAD I WALK
I walk amid all that is beautiful of nature, of
people, the animals that abound.

Often, I walk alone.

It is not that I don't enjoy the company of
others, it's simply because the road I walk
requires concentration of all that surrounds
me, and rather than be rude to another, I
often walk alone

That is the great courtesy I wish to show to
others!

EARLY DAYS OF LAST NEW YEAR

In the first days of last New Year
I did a needed deed.

I delivered a Christmas present which I
failed to include when I delivered other
presents during holiday cheer.

Imagine, a first sight that morning was of
two grumpy desert camels being led through
the byways of Rockefeller Center. They
were headed towards the famous Christmas
tree that is always there at this time of the
year.

Suddenly, I heard wild laughter of children,
tiny bundled beings filled with the glee of
the magic they were watching: Camels, a
Glittering Christmas tree with lights blinking,
a giant star glistening. And they, with their
wondrous flair of life, offered this viewer a
special package of joy.

A life gift displayed to one man now growing
wiser.

Seeing these presents being freely tendered,
blessing my failure that brought me there.
