NAPKIN WORDS #30 2010

1. MOVEMENT
There are two things that can make
time go backwards for a person.

First is memory.

Second is history!

2. LIFE
Is to stride the road seeing all that
is about.

Not to ride the road seeing nothing
in passing!

3. THE WEIGHT OF TIME
Happiness and sadness both are of
equal weight.

Only you, by your wisdom, can tip the
scale!

4. HERE IS THE QUANDRY
We cannot make time fit our budget.

That is not our current problem.

Our true problem of history today, is that
we cannot make a budget to fit our time!

5. ENJOY THE MOMENT
Let us laugh when we can.

Tears will come whenever they may!

6. WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO SHORE
No matter what you might think, if you
find yourself in a life raft, then you know
there are problems.

The time to relax will only be when
your feet can tread on the land!

7. YOU ARE THE ARTIST
Clay is very much like life.

It can be shaped anyway you wish for
it to become a work of art!

8. A PERCENTAGE OF TRUTH
100% truth will prove to be 100% of a lie.

Be satisfied with a lower percentage:

This will allow you to be truthful with
yourself as well as all others!

9. THE BLOOM AND THE BLUSH
The wonder is that at the end of your
time, it is the start, that wondrous
beginning of another’s time!

HONORED FATHER
Where stood man in birthing universe, when mother
seas spawned sons, daughters of every species? Such
questions rest on all male lips. For histories narrative
must make him proud, swell his chest, and raise head high,
sense a wonder for what was achieved.

Ages eon gone, survival was all of all, only fittest of fit
continued a species. Mankind faced many daily dangers,
protecting, providing, for mate, offsprings, clan, his people.

He who hunted, gathered skins which sheltered, swathed,
essence of mixture, allowing egg, sperm, to cause noble child.

Male, female, carved tools of testing, which by trial, error, were able to chop-sew-sift-carry-toss and spear. Adventurous
spirit man, mixed with wondrous glory woman, caused genes
to pass, unknowns to grasp generation’s learning.

Against all odds, he bravely faced giant woolly Mammoths, fierce saber-toothed tigers, and harsh elements of seasons, tribes of others, as well as ignorance and illness. Ask for what? A simple answer, so all children might aspire, dream, live in awe.

Our Father, whoever you are, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish,
Muslim, Hindu or other, your children give thanks for allowing joining partners. Creating, sculpturing we, a next
generation in perfect form to challenge tomorrow. Setting out
towards paths unknown, yet always dared.

Such was wisdom of your loving instructions, Honored Father of roads yet traveled - truths yet seen.
