NAPKIN WORDS #73 2010
1. LOVE
An avalanche of time on a mountainside of
smiles!
2. QUESTION
If a butterfly had teeth, would it know of anger?
If a bat could see, would it still listen for insects?
3. SHOULD WE REACH
What we imagine as time, is just an itch of the
past needing to be scratched.
Our problem is this: How to reach the middle
of the back when the itch lies ahead in the future?
4. SIGHT WISE
The wide-open eyes see more stars than all
that might be seen with dreams, wishes, hopes,
or aspirations.
Have the wisdom to look at night with eyes
wide-open!
5. KNOWING LOST SOULS
Those who remember those wishing to
forget.
For they each are us, we are them!
6. WHAT IS THAT NOISE
The loudest sound of love is a heart breaking!
7. UP TO YOU
If you can make expectation a surprise,
you will always have wonder!
8. LISTENING TO WRONGS
The problem of hearing is not what was said,
it always is what was thought to be heard!
9. NEIGHBORHOOD
God is where you are, not where you wish
God to be!
10. INSIDE AND OUT
The smile within is wondrous and special
for you.
The smile outside is wondrous and special
for all others!
11. YOU DECIDE – MEMORY OF A FRIEND
Imagination writes more books than an
insurance executive.
Still, one should always remember that
an insurance executive makes much more
money than the writer.
As a writer, I think it is wiser that way!
WHEN
Upon pillows of
our sleep is
greatest thought
possible.
Yet it remains for
tomorrow
to achieve great
deeds.
Great thoughts and
great deeds are
two separate
actions!
