NAPKIN WORDS #32 2010
1. MATHMATICS
The good life occurs because you are
always adding something to it.
You go out of your way to insure that
there is no division between family or
friends, peers or employers.
You see the plus side of happiness, and
insure you never subtract from the
happiness of others.
You do your math each and every day!
2. EXPECTATIONS
What you demand of yourself all through
life. Honesty in all things that you do.
Instead of what others demand that you
do.
What others demand of you is what we
call A JOB, MILITARY SERVICE, ETC.
What you demand of yourself is called
INTEGRITY!
3. ROBBERY
Losing the heart to the bandit of hate!
4. SINEWS OF NATURE
The wondrous way of plants thriving amid
woods and forests, giddy with sunshine or
shade, reaping winds, sharing of rains.
Their absolute innocence, or need for the
watching eye!
5. TRIPS
Entrances are gateways.
Exits are pathways.
Expect that both will always surprise!
6. INK SPREADING
The job of a writer is to tell, in the clearest
way, the wonders of life, past, present and
even of future.
It is how the writer tells this story, how they
weave words so they paint a picture in the
frame of a reader’s imagination. That is
what makes a great writer, a mediocre writer,
or at the worst, an unread writer!
7. GIVING REGULARLY
The wisest allowance you can give to
your children is that of expectation.
Keep increasing that allowance as the
years go by!
FOUR POEMS FOR A LADY
FIRST POEM
Who will deny a smile,
dismiss a glow,
fear heartbeats,
emotions,
kindness of being?
Not I, becuase
I met you.
SECOND POEM
Were I,
in anyway less human,
I could not feel joys
that I do.
Thank you,
for now I know the
meaning of love.
THIRD POEM
A first time,
my face smiled.
A second time,
my heart did laugh.
FOURTH POEM
There is no form to memory.
Wonders exist in what we recall.
Such are answers, falling in love.
