NAPKIN WORDS #31 2010
1. WORTH
The value of your wisdom is worth nothing
if you do not offer it freely, provide it
generously, and then on purpose, forget
who you gave it to!
2. EACH OF US KNOWS IT
Each and every sad song once began in
happiness!
3. PROCEDURE TO KEEP IN MIND
If you believe that you are an exception
to the rule, the rule will do nothing except
measure your smallness!
4. POINTING OUT A DIFFERENCE
Charity: Whatever you received, you
considered it much too generous.
Poverty: When you believe that whatever
your need shall be, it will always be more than
whatever you might receive!
5. LIVING A LOSS
Something is missing in life should a life
have no dreams!
6. GETTING THE JOKE
My laughter at life is worthy of its humor!
7. DEPARTURE
Let me depart as I arrived, with tears,
joys and a whole lot of luck!
8. THE WRITER
Wisdom is not just what we think. It
is when we write down, or what is put
to pen by others who heard our words.
It is sad how many wise humans have
drowned in the swamp of anonymity,
simply because they had no pen, no
paper, no one to listen, none to hear!
9. THE BRIDGE
There will always be those who can’t
cross the bridge of friendship. They
spend their time slogging through the
mud of potential enemies.
It is because of them that in their time,
runs the ruin of history. The curse of
their time is that they make it ours!
10. THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSESSION
The true problem with time is that none
of us is allowed to own it.
It is as if it is a pawn shop, where all we
can do is barter our time, knowing we will
pay a stiff price when at last we redeem it!
HISTORY
Time rushes fingers
over
pages of our
calendars,
leaving us recalling
all
pleasures of past.
Offering a second
showing
of elation through
those
years gone by.
Ask deeply of
yourself:
How many pages,
years
that passed,
flutter
on towards our
history
upon gusts of
love?
