NAPKIN WORDS #27 2010

1. ASK WHY
People ordinarily never look at a
seahorse to be impressed by its size.

Their affection for the seahorse is
its shape, its grace.

I hope this answers a question of
how we should judge one another!

2. BIRTHRIGHT
We all inherit a wealth of dreams.

It is up to each of us not to waste this
legacy!

3. GREATNESS OF MOVEMENT
The wonder of time is that it always allows
one to question and wonder!

4. UP YOU GO
Wisdom is not the steps.

It is simply the steps one willingly takes
to arrive at their destiny!

5. THE EDUCATED BODY
Each and every heart wanders, questions,
seeks and accepts the wisdom of another
who has paved the way!

6. MAY 21ST, 2010
What a day for nature and a
wandering man in Central Park.

Songs flew with breezes.

A bright golden butterfly seemed to
guide a blind man.

A teenage girl matched the laborious pace of
an ancient nun, who made her way wearing an
enigmatic smile, thinking perhaps of her time
spent watching the works of God.

Placid whispers of grace directed us all!

7. REFLECTIONS
A smile is not the wisdom of the face.

It is kindness of the soul willing to
display itself upon a canvas seen!

8. FROM PROTECTED EARTH
Space is our ultimate destination.

Where in space, is the unanswered
question!

9. DON’T ASK
Every time you question happiness, you
insure that you will know of sadness!

CHINA AND DESCARTES

Written in pain of
histories measures
are centrifugal
points
centering on man.

Allowing for ego, the
Western I,
just before passing
its apex,
tottering about to
fall down.

Sinking in swamps,
as we,
stars of a sky
burning bright,
reflecting in
East,
forms a halo to
Western knowledge.

Now it hangs upon
walls,
floating in museum
spaces painted red,
on seas of life.

Forest breathing on
Mountainside,
a wheel of truth,
Dharma,
turns,
descent of alive,
creating in movement
when next we
arrive.
