NAPKIN WORDS #54 2010
1. SIGHT WORDS
The eye is the perfect translator of words
spoken by trees!
2. EMOTIONS OF DUSK
That transition between what you can clearly
see and what you soon will be unable to see!
3. EXPRESSIONS
“On the horns of a dilemma,” is nothing more
than you allowing something to, “Get your goat”!
4. EQUALITY
A scared hero and a brave fool are one and the
same!
5. HOW TO TELL
Only fools stare straight into a burning sun
to proclaim that now they are blind!
6. THE WAY
When kindness is behind us, wisdom is without!
7. BLINDNESS
Whenever we fail to see the road of kindness!
8. VISION
When we become like Galileo, against all common
reasoning, we can at last see the stars!
9. HONESTY
If you let it, time will disappoint you.
If you don’t, it will still do what it can!
10. HOW IT DOES WHAT IT DOES
History has never chosen its victims from those
who are willing.
What it has always done, and I believe what it
will always do, is select the innocent for their
vulnerability!
11. THAT SMILE OF TIME
Giving – the want, not the need.
That wasting of wealth with a wisdom of why!
12. TIME
Where we leave tomorrow!
13. ENJOYMENT
Live as if life is chasing you, and you enjoy
running.
With life, you must never stand still!
14. STRUGGLE
Surviving today while preparing for tomorrow!
JOURNEY SIGHT
If you wish to progress high upon that ladder of success, you must insure
that you lean your ladder against any one of those many walls blocking
your way, then climb over to continue on.
Heed experience! For, if you climb over the very first wall barring your
way, and fail to move on to the next wall, you will be filled with regret upon hearing of those exciting and daring adventures of your peers,
relating the circumstances of the many walls they have had to scamper over.
Another piece of wisdom I might offer, is to insure that your ladder is
equipped with its own rolling wheels. For you must always understand
that the struggle in life should be in the climbing, not the lugging.
How will you know which wall is the right one for you, the very last one
you should need to climb over? I suggest that you keep a clear record of
all those walls you have personally climbed. One day, (you will know when), you will look over this now lengthy list and return to that very special wall which held such a very special space behind it. A space that
pleased you more than any other space that you had seen. Then, with a
great determination, climb high and over this ultimate wall of importance.
Without any hesitation, you should be willing to fling away your faithful, trusty, well pushed ladder and take a moment to place your back gently against the nearest tree trunk and announce to the sky, “Here is where
my roots will prosper, here is where I shall make my home!”
That wall, once over, should now lose all importance. You must seek out
the nearest road, see who else might be traveling down in a similar direction. Someone who wishes to find a partner, who selected the very
same wall, the same road and who also tossed away their own heavy ladder. For you are both, from that moment on, called knowing. Having gained an inner wisdom that the road to destination has been found. It lies under foot and under your hearts, so that minds, your growing love will now be your guide.
