NAPKIN WORDS #17 2010
1. APPRECIATION
We should never whisper our gratitude
for a kindness done for us by another.
It must be loud enough to insure that it
is heard.
The worse problem we could have:
We offered our thanks so quietly, that
it could not be heard by the one who
tendered the kindness!
2. THE WAY OF FALLING IN LOVE
To capture anything, one must understand
why something must be surrendered.
Do not be surprised by what you give up.
It is just part of the wonder of why you
attempted to capture a thing not yours!
3. INVITATION
The true art of entertaining is to use the
stroke of welcome with colors of wonder.
The master class of this art always teaches
to paint it upon the canvas of kindness!
4. WRITING
Words are never merely creation of the
mind.
To be important to a reader, they must
be creations of an erupting heart, arising
from the mist of our experienced soul!
5. EARTH DAY PONDERINGS
Each of us shares this earth with each
other.
As we each value tomorrow, let us all
share that arrival by also admitting our
failures.
If we do that, we learn a new starting
point for helping our wondrous planet
to heal!
6. A PURPOSE FOR THE FALLING
Regardless if you are outside or inside,
when the beauty of rain arrives, that is
the perfect time to open an umbrella
of smiles.
It is such a fun way to keep the heart
dry!
IF
If we want to prove
but one thing of
our existence, it
must be that there
was a kindness
within.
That no matter what,
we were always willing
to
battle all horrors,
ignorance,
that sharp piercing
gravel
paved by our parents,
our peers, or
merely
our history.
So when we took
our strides in
life,
calm and comfort
were easily found.
Strangers and
friends
followed our path.
